RLS Security, Inc. is an Investigative consulting corporation. The Owner, Qualified Manager, & Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Robert L. Smith began his career as a police officer with the California Highway Patrol. Upon his honorable retirement, Mr. Smith applied for and received a California Security and Investigator's license. With these licenses, Mr. Smith established RLS Security, Inc. Mr. Smith has over 40 years of combined Law Enforcement, Security, and Investigative experience. During his career as an officer with the California Highway Patrol, Mr. Smith investigated numerous crimes against persons and property. His experience included, Operations Officer, Military Safety Information Officer, Evidence/Property Officer, and Patrol Officer. Mr. Smith performed these assignments with integrity and dedication while upholding the high standards and professionalism of the California Highway Patrol. In addition to his professional law enforcement investigative background, Mr. Smith has performed personal protection security, residential security, special event security, film/motion picture security and financial currency security. he is a licensed commercial vehicle operator operating commercial buses and security vans transporting detained individuals for the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento, a Basic Peace Officers Standards and Training Certificate (POST) numerous professional certifications from agencies as California Department of Justice Dignitary Protection, Riverside County Sheriff's Department Backgrounds Investigations, and the United States Marshals Service Court Security.
